What is Anxiety?
Anxiety is your body’s natural response to stress. It is an overwhelming fear or apprehension about what’s to come. Most of us have feelings of anxiety at some point in our lives.
Symptoms of anxiety?
Overthinking, feeling restless, sweating, worrying, trembling, breathing rapidly, feeling nervous, sweaty palms, having a sense of impending danger, panic or doom, trouble thinking clearly, can’t get your words out, physical symptoms such as nausea and or diarrhoea. Does any of this sound familiar?
How can Hypnosis help my anxiety?
There are so many ways to reduce the symptoms of anxiety with hypnosis and NLP, starting with relaxation which will naturally reduce stress levels and have a calming effect on symptoms. There is no one size fits all plan as we all have different triggers. Be prepared for lots of questions as I need to understand what it is like from your point of view. Once I get a clearer understanding of what is going on we will work together to improve your emotional wellbeing. Sometimes there is so much going on in our heads, there is no room for everything in there. (Hence the overwhelm).
A good start on this type of work would be some kind of clearing out of all that is no longer useful. Once we have made some room, we can look to take the intensity out of the symptoms and take it from there. My aim is on completion is for you to be able to successfully manage your own self care with a huge improvement in your quality of life. I will be teaching you coping mechanisms to use in your everyday life to avoid overwhelm so effort will be required on your behalf.
